This pizza is one of the most surprising dishes on my blog. It is beyond elegant for a pizza, and more delicious that I can possibly describe or photograph. The pizza consists of four cheeses, prosciutto, aged balsamic, and BLUEBERRY jam. I know, it sounds weird, but just imagine a gourmet cheese plate on your pizza!

This pizza is impressive enough to entertain with, and is a crowd pleaser every time! If you love sweet and savory, you will LOVE this pizza! This will be my signature dish for years to come.
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Serves 4, or 2 really hungry people:)
1 (9-11oz.) pizza dough ball (purchased at the grocery store or local pizza shop)
Flour, for rolling dough
1 c. to 1 1/2 c. whole milk mozzarella, grated (get the REAL stuff, not the part-skim block)
1/4 c. soft Gorgonzola, pinched dime size
1/4 c. Asiago, grated
10-12 dollops of Blueberry Jam (recommended: Stonewall Kitchen, Wild Maine Blueberry Jam)
Parmigiano reggiano, shaved
4 slices prosciutto, cut into thin strips
4 sprigs thyme, stripped for leaves
Aged balsamic vinegar from Modena (aged at least 5 years)
Preheat your oven to 550 degrees. If your oven does not get that hot, preheat it as high as it will go.
Roll the dough on a floured surface into a 12 inch round. Place on a baking sheet, or pizza stone.
Add the mozzarella, gorgonzola, and asiago on top of the dough leaving a 1/2 inch border at the edge. Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is golden brown. Remove from heat and add blueberry preserves in dollops, followed by the shaved parmesan, thyme, and prosciutto. Lightly drizzle the pizza with the balsamic vinegar. Cut into 8 pieces.
